Cockney Rhyming Slang

Cockney Rhyming Slang 🇬🇧

Your dog and bone is ringing könnte ein Satz sein, der Sie darauf hinweist, dass Ihr Telefon klingelt. The loo is up the apples and pears könnte in einem East-End Pub die Antwort sein, wenn Sie nach dem WC fragen. Verwirrt?

Was ist Cockney?

The loo is up the apples and pears – zum WC (loo) geht's die Treppe hoch.
