General terms and conditions (AGB)

1. Registration for open group courses

Open group courses are courses that are accessible to everyone and whose participants pursue various personal goals for a language course. Registration must be made in writing (letter, fax or e-mail).

All personal names apply equally to all genders.

2. Registration for in-house training

In-house trainings are booked by companies and other institutions for a clearly defined group of participants with homogeneous objectives of the participants for language training. Offers are confirmed in writing by the client before the start of training. Offers made in writing remain valid for three months. The constitutional date of the offer applies.

3. Cancellation of open group courses

4. Cancellation of in-house training

Appointments confirmed in writing can be canceled free of charge up to three weeks before the start of training. For cancellations less than three weeks before the start of training, 50% of the fee is due. In case of no-show or cancellations less than three working days before the start of the training, the full fee is due.

Appointments made for training sessions after the start of training, which are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, will be charged in full. Cancellation costs for booked premises or other third-party services are borne by the client in all cases of cancellation. Training participation is transferable at any time. Reimbursement claims for unused services cannot be made.

5. Cancellation

Cancellations must always be made in writing. There is no cost for cancellations up to two weeks before the start of the course. For cancellations up to one week before the start of the course, 25% of the course fee is due. For cancellations made less than one week before the start of the course, 50% of the seminar fee will be charged.

The contractor reserves the right to cancel open group courses if the number of participants is too low (usually less than four participants) up to five working days before the start of the course and to offer alternative dates. If the seminar is cancelled due to illness, force majeure or unforeseeable events, there is no right to conduct the course.

6. Payment terms

Appointments for lessons made after the start of the course, which are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, will be charged in full. Course participation can be transferred to another person at any time. If a course participant does not make full use of the service, there is no refund claim for the unused course/teaching unit.

Invoices are due immediately and without deduction upon receipt after the start of the course.

7. Copyrights

By registering, course and training participants agree to use the course and training accompanying work documents only for their personal use. Any use of the documents, making copies, etc. for the purpose of passing them on to third parties beyond this purpose is only permitted with the express written permission of the contractor.

8. Final provision

Differently negotiated agreements, ancillary agreements or other changes to these contractual terms must be made in writing. This also applies to the abolition of this written form clause itself. Should one of the above regulations or a provision under other agreements be ineffective, this does not affect the effectiveness of the other regulations or agreements.
