Why should we implement our language training with ROSE College? What makes ROSE College special?

ROSE College stands for language training that is individual, practical, and directly effective in everyday working life.

What sets us apart is the combination of personal support and clear structure:

How does a language training program at ROSE College work?

Each training program is individually tailored to your requirements and your company.

The typical process includes:

  • needs analysis and goal definition
  • three-step assessment of participants
  • tailored group allocation or one-to-one training
  • continuous support by experienced trainers
  • collection of feedback after the initial sessions
  • detailed performance evaluation upon completion of the training

This ensures that all content is practical, relevant, and directly applicable in the workplace.

Are online, in-person, and hybrid training formats available?

Yes, all training formats at ROSE College can be implemented flexibly. You can choose between online, in-person, and hybrid training, depending on your company’s needs and organizational setup.

We are happy to advise you on the most suitable format, taking into account factors such as:

  • your employees’ working models (e.g. remote or on-site)
  • scheduling and availability
  • training goals and content

Combinations are also possible at any time, ensuring that the training integrates seamlessly into your employees’ daily work routines.

How quickly can ROSE College organize a language training program for our company?

In most cases, we can start a language training program at short notice—often within 1 to 2 weeks after your initial request.

The exact lead time depends on several factors, such as:

  • number of participants
  • desired language and training format (online or on-site)
  • availability of suitable trainers
  • individual goals and organizational coordination

Thanks to our large and experienced pool of trainers, as well as clearly structured processes, we are able to implement even short-term requests flexibly and reliably.

For a smooth start, we recommend a brief coordination call to clarify your requirements and define the next

An gesetzlichen Feiertagen findet kein Unterricht statt.

Wie wird mit Fehlzeiten (z. B. Urlaub oder Krankheit) umgegangen?

The handling of absences depends on the specific training format.

Individual Training
Individual training offers a high level of flexibility. Sessions are scheduled directly with your trainer and can be adjusted to fit your current availability if needed.

Group Training
In group training, missed sessions cannot be made up, as the content is developed collaboratively within the group. However, your trainer will be happy to provide you with an overview of the topics covered, materials and any assigned tasks, allowing you to catch up independently.

Is a trial lesson available?

We generally do not offer traditional trial lessons, as we work exclusively with highly qualified and experienced trainers.

At the same time, you do not enter into any long-term commitment with us. Training can be discontinued at any time at your own request.

One of the key advantages of ROSE College is that you are not tied to a fixed budget or a predefined training period. You remain fully flexible and can stop your training whenever you choose.

If, after a few sessions, you find that you no longer have the time or that other reasons prevent you from continuing, you can pause or discontinue your training at any time.

Please note our 24-hour cancellation policy:
Scheduled training sessions can be cancelled by participants or companies up to 24 hours in advance. Later cancellations will be charged as completed sessions.

This policy does not apply to intensive training programmes, tailored workshops or intercultural training sessions, which are subject to individual cancellation terms.

How many training sessions do I need to progress by one level?

This depends on a range of individual factors – for example, how much time you invest in self-study alongside your training at ROSE, your previous knowledge, and whether you already have experience learning foreign languages.

As a general guideline, progressing by one full level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) – for example, from A1 to A2 or from A2 to B1 – typically requires around 80–120 training sessions of 45 minutes each.

At higher levels (B2 to C2), progression usually requires approximately 180–280 training hours.

Participants in individual training generally progress faster than those in group training. As a rule, the smaller the group, the faster learners tend to advance.

Which languages are available in your course offering?

With us, you can learn virtually any world language for any purpose. From German as a Foreign Language (DaF) and Business English to technical English and German, everyday communication, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese or Swedish – our offering is as diverse as our participants.

We cater to every language need and are confident that we have the right trainer for you within our extensive network of experts.

Does ROSE College offer integration courses?

No, we do not offer integration courses, as ROSE College is a private institution.

Instead, we specialise in tailored training concepts. We place great importance on an individual learning environment: whether in small groups or one-to-one training, each participant receives personalised support and targeted guidance – without a predefined, standardised programme.

Can I redeem an education voucher at ROSE College?

No, we currently do not accept education vouchers.

As a private college, we are happy to advise you on alternative financing options and course models, which can be tailored to your individual needs.

What is the ideal group size for a successful course?

Our approach is to keep groups as small as possible in order to ensure highly effective and interactive training.

For in-person training, we recommend a maximum group size of 8 participants.
For live online training, we recommend starting with no more than 6 participants per group.

These are general guidelines. We are happy to develop a tailored concept with you that aligns perfectly with your goals and requirements. We remain fully flexible and adapt to your preferences and budget.

Are the language courses tailored to professional needs?

Our language courses are always aligned with your goals or the objectives of your employees.

At lower levels (up to B1 in German and English), training typically combines professional content – such as describing tasks, scheduling appointments, writing simple emails, handling phone calls and participating in meetings – with general language topics that support overall learning progress.

At higher levels, training becomes highly individualised and specialised, tailored closely to your specific professional requirements and objectives.

Which exams can I take at ROSE College?

With a minimum booking of 40 training hours, you can receive a performance evaluation upon request – a certificate documenting your training content and current language level.

If you would like to complete your training with an official exam, we offer several options as additional services:

ROSE College Examination
We assess your language skills at a defined level in German or English, based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
This internal ROSE exam consists of four components: reading, listening, writing and speaking.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a ROSE College certificate confirming your level.

WiDaF Test (German for Business)
We are an official test centre for the WiDaF exam (German as a Foreign Language for business contexts).

English Language Exams
You can take the following internationally recognised exams with us:

  • TOEIC (business English)
  • TOEFL ITP (general English)

Important note
We are an official test centre for TOEIC, TOEFL and WiDaF exams.
We are not a test centre for TELC, Goethe or ÖSD exams; however, we prepare you professionally for all of these examinations. The exams themselves can be taken externally, ensuring full objectivity.

To date, all of our candidates have successfully passed their exams.

We would be happy to advise you with no obligation.

Can I book a course at ROSE College as a private individual?

Yes, of course.

While ROSE College specialises in corporate language training, we also offer tailored language programmes for individuals – both as one-to-one training and in small groups.

Our courses are designed for anyone interested in learning a language. Whether you are booking as a private individual or as a business client, we focus on your goals and work with you to develop the right training concept.

We would be happy to advise you personally on the available options.
